LMG

(formerly London Monday Group for Homosexual Equality)

Introducing LMG

LMG was a gay social group, meeting every Monday (except bank holidays) at 9pm, in a pub in central London. The group was formed in 1971, originally as CHE London Group 10.

In January 2012, following falling numbers, the group voted to dissolve itself and donate its remaining funds to six worthy causes.

Having paid its subscription for 2012 to CHE and SLAGO, LMG members are entitled to attend CHE and SLAGO events, and there will still be an LMG team in the SLAGO Cup competitions for 2012.

From 1987 to 2008 the group also helped organise Capital Quiz, the annual knock-out championship held in the early part of each year.
