London - Croydon
Trans Day of Remembrance
St Stephen's Church, Thornton Heath and Norbury.
Warwick Road, Thornton Heath, Croydon.
Organised by:

Croydon Trans Group and Aurora, Croydon's LGBT Police Consultation Group

Further information:

The International Trans Day of Remembrance will be marked in St Stephen's Church, 7.30pm.
The names of those who have lost their lives through transphobia this year will be read, and a candle lit for each of them.
If you would like to contribute (e.g. with a poem, reading, reminiscence) please contact us by e-mail, before the day, if at all possible.
There will be a social time with refreshments after the ceremony.
As a positive, living memorial, spring bulbs are being planted in Mayfield Playground, the park near to where Kellie Telesford was murdered in her flat, in November 2007. Memoriam messages for Kellie have been placed in the Croydon Advertiser and Guardian.
