Torquay 2014

Thursday 20 November 2014, 7:00pm
Transgender Day of Remembrance 2014
The Horizon Centre
Torbay Hospital, Torquay.
Organised by:

Transfigurations and by Proud2Be

Further information:

A candlelit vigil will be held to memorialise those transgender people who have lost their lives due to transphobic hate crime this year.
This will be preceded by a short film created by Transfigurations and followed by the showing of the "A Girl Like Me: The Gwen Araujo story" - the moving and award winning film about the life of a transgender woman.
The event will be attended by members of the Devon and Cornwall Police and dignitaries.
The event is open to all.
Sponsored by Devon and Cornwall Police and T & SD HCFT NHS.

A light buffet will be available - there will be no charge for this but any donations to Transfigurations to help with the costs of running the group would be very welcome.

For full details - and the link to *book your place* (so there's enough food) see
